Meet Your Dean: Todd M. Alessandri, Ph.D.

Why study business at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø?
Today’s employers want to hire individuals who understand business but can also view problems from a different perspective. ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø provides students with a strong foundation in business, and students also complete a minor outside of the College of Business, allowing them to gain that interdisciplinary perspective employers want.
How does ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø prepare students to be day-one ready?
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø students have numerous opportunities to engage in experiential learning while pursuing their degree. As a result, our students have the chance to gain valuable experience in their chosen field — giving them a jump-start to their career.
What are you most excited about for ºÚÁϳԹÏ꿉۪s future?
The Business Entrepreneurship Leadership Center (BELC), the new home of the College of Business, has transformed campus and how our students learn. This facility provides the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø community with cutting-edge labs and centers that specialize in AI, finance, digital marketing, leadership, and more. I am so thrilled to be a part of this growth — and we’re just getting started.
